About Us

The Locke Street Farmers’ Market started in spring of 2010 with the goal of bringing fresh, local food to the Locke Street neighbourhood. The market offers diverse products including vegetables, fruits, flowers, and meats grown by our farmers and baked goods and prepared foods made by our food producers.

We strive to offer community programming for families including story time and musical performances.

A very special thank you....

Master mechanic Robert Bernacci grew up with his family’s own tire and repair shop, learning and understanding what customers look for when their vehicles need servicing. Establishing Locke Street Tire and Automotive in 2002, Rob has provided customers in the Hamilton and surrounding area with automotive services for over twenty years. Rob is committed to serving customers with honesty and value as well as providing fast and efficient car-servicing needs.

Locke Street Tire and Automotive has three locations in Hamilton. Passionate about contributing to the community, Rob welcomed the Locke Street Farmers’ Market to 260 Locke Street South when we outgrew our previous location.

We appreciate the many years the market has flourished at the corner of Locke and Herkimer. Thank you, Rob!
